About My Physio-Gym

My Physio-Gym Love to Help People who are in their 30’s, 40’s, 50’s  60’s, get back to living with more confidence and less fear so they can enjoy doing what they love. This means a life free from painkillers, where you don’t have to worry about bothering the doctor, and can do and enjoy all of the things you love, without the fear of pain holding you back.

When you have pain in your knee, lower-back, neck or shoulders, or if you experience an injury from sport or exercise – we know it’s very tempting to leave it and hope it’ll simply “go away on it’s own” with time and rest… That you’ll wake up someday and like “magic”, it’ll be as if it never happened in the first place – but that’s usually not the case, and often the pain ends up worse than it was when it first started.

We also know it’s very easy to reach into the back of the cupboard for the painkillers, and take them whenever pain strikes so it eases off fast – but all those painkillers are no good for your health long-term, and do nothing but mask the pain instead.

Or, maybe you’re left feeling confused, even sceptical because you’ve seeked advice from other Healthcare professionals, or a Physio in the past, and nothing they seemed to say or do helped.

Clinically, we are happy to treat all patients, of all ages, with all musculo-skeletal complaints. We do however have a special interest in the diagnosis, management, treatment and prevention of sports injuries.

          Having worked in the NHS, Private and Elite sport -My approach to physiotherapy is unique in that I combine my clinical assessment and diagnostic skills as a physiotherapist, and combine it with my skill-set in tailoring exercise programs to the patient’s injury for optimal short term and long term improvements in pain and function. As a result, I spend as little time possible using passive forms of treatment, and instead try to promote active treatment and self management strategies. I personally believe this results in superior and sustained long term improvements in pain and function.
